Lowell Driver Experience: Session 9

February 11, 2016

Due in part to a few weather delays we had a group of 5 drivers this week and one professional navigator (Wife). Mrs. Heather Woodall helped keep this crew in line as pictured here with husband Robert and fellow driver Michael Williams.

When asked why Heather and Robert selected J.B. Hunt as their home, they explained it had a lot to do with not only the new free rider policy, it was also greatly in part due to the new pet policy. I even had the luxury of meeting "Ziggie" when we returned to our trucks to depart for the evening.

Though here at J.B. Hunt we always keep safety as our number one focus, we still manage to squeeze in a few laughs along the way.

Safety Manager Guy Sullivan was happy to return to the driving course now that fell Area Safety Manager Deb Beecher has returned from vacation.

Consistently drivers are telling us they find the most benefit in the hands on Peoplenet Training, understanding the details and tricks to navigating through ELD's is not only beneficial it's appreciated.

The crew genuinely enjoyed the beautiful weather we had, nothing like sunshine and 56 degrees in the middle of February.

As usual one of the most popular stations every week has to be the driving course. Drivers love having an opportunity to step up and show off some of their driving skills.
