It was great to see Gary Carthon today as he arrived at our warehouse off 71B. Gary brought our trailer full of Driver Appreciation hats from Atlanta to Lowell. Who better to carry the load?
These hats were held in customs in London for a prolonged period of time. We got nervous, but in the end it all worked out.
All three business units received their hats today. Aren't these Truckload hats sharp? For those of us who remember brown and tan uniforms, its a great testament to our roots.
It is time to box our hats, Walmart gift cards and personalized thank you cards signed by every fleet manager, operations manager, director, vice president and our president. This is the best organized Driver Appreciation Week that this blogger has ever been a part of over 26 years.
