Please join us in welcoming Philip Sorensen to our Truckload Pricing team. Philip goes by the name P.J.. I quickly learned this when I walked the floor looking for our new employee named Philip. P.J. didn't turn around when I was 5 ft away!
P.J. was born and reared in Lincoln, Nebraska. He attended the University of South Dakota on a swimming scholarship. P.J. received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management in 2007. His first job out of college was with one of our main competitors, Crete Carrier in Lincoln, Nebraska. P.J.'s responsibilities included Pricing and Yield Management. As if those duties were not a full-time job, he also earned his MBA with a Supply Chain Management focus from Bellevue University in 2013.
P.J. is married to Sarah and they have two dogs. P.J. and Sarah also have big news----they are expecting their first child in December! During P.J.'s limited free time he enjoys running, golf, and exercising his dogs.
We will check back in December and see how many of these hobbies continue after the bundle of joy arrives?
