Service the Truckload Way

Trailer 51243 had a bad hub preventing the driver from moving past the Brazil, IN area yesterday. This was a hot Automotive load to Ford in Kansas City, MO for 12 noon delivery Monday.

There were 2 vendors involved yesterday evening between Brazil, IN and Terre Haute, IN helping to facilitate the wheel being removed and the axle being chained up to the trailer frame so they could tow the trailer for repairs. We were trying to determine if a replacement hub could be located or if we had to transload the trailer. The 2nd vendor in Terre Haute, IN was able to locate the hub, brake drum ad other parts needed for replacement and had the trailer repaired within 2 hours or at approx 8:30pm last night. One of our dedicated drivers was able to repower the load and now we WILL make On Time Delivery.

With the coordination and teamwork of our maintenance group (Fred Bowling, Larry Standifer, Randy Bise, Benji, Josh, JD and possibly a few others) we were able to get this resolved. The vendor in Terre Haute, IN "Rosnett Semitrailer" did a fantastic job. This would not have been successful without the 2 vendors working as they did.
