We received this survey from one of our Professional Drivers last weekend:
Something has to be done about weekend parking at Forest Park, GA. We have at least 20 bobtail tractors parked on the gravel lot taking up space that a tractor trailer could use. At the same time there is a separate lot that is not being used to full capacity.
So, on our flight from ATL to XNA this week we snapped a shot of the GY yard that you can see in the right hand corner of the photo. The lot to the extreme left is wide open. We inquired about what the driver saw the previous weekend. The bare lot was being used to stage containers and trailers for skybitz installs for a pilot test as a part of Elevation. Our maintenance team agreed to try and address the space issue for pass through tractors to alleviate frustrations.
