Go Find An Empty Trailer

Here are photos of one of our trailers after installation of Orbcomm hardware at Alliance, Texas.    There were 5 trailer units that received Orbcomm installation yesterday and we are expecting another 10 by the end of the week.  We will have a total of 15 trailers installed this week with Orbcomm.    Next week we will install another 15 in Atlanta, GA with Skybitz hardware.  These are all a part of our pilot test for Trailer Tracking.
These two pictures show the device hardware that helps us communicate with the satellite.
The camera below tells us the loaded/unloaded status and if the trailer door is open or closed.

  1. When it comes to trailer tracking it's all about tracking the position of a vehicles trailer unit when it is in use. It works using a satellite or a communication network (like Orbcomm) to transfer data in order to pin point its exact location. Many companies use this type of method to optimise the use of their trailer fleets.
