Bo and Jay----Day #2 and #3

We began our travels from east back through the midwest:

This is a rest stop in Everett, PA.  Jay is doing his best to remind Bo to take in the beauty during their driving time.  Its easy to get fixated on the grey highway and contract "white line fever."
Here is a rest stop map in the truck stop in West Virginia.

Our team encountered what seemed like a small problem with a marker light on their trailer bound for Covington, Kentucky.  It took less than 10 minutes to fix at the Columbus, Ohio shop.  We did notice a training opportunity when the tech started to perform an AA service that was not due.  It was good that we stepped in as our trailer is loaded and we could not afford any delays.  So, if you put math to our problem with the marker light it cost us the following:

1.  2 hours of on-duty time
2.  17 miles out of route
3.  Frustration

Here are some pictures of Jay doing the normal fueling and DEF tasks:

We encountered a driver who took a liking to our bigger truck.  He popped in for a look at our new reality.  He is a 16 year driver with J.B. Hunt:
