2. We employ 6.9 million people in trucking-related industries.
3. The majority of trucking companies are considered small businesses.
4. 90.5% of trucking companies operate six or fewer trucks.  
5. Only 2.8% of trucking companies operate more than 20 tractors.
6. Class 6-8 trucks traveled 137.2 billion miles in 2011.
