As we returned from a DCS Kickoff Meeting in Louisville, KY this Sunday, we decided to fuel our vehicle at the Flying J Truck Stop on I-44 in Missouri. We stopped in to pick up the latest copy of The Trucker and several recruiting publications at the fueling island. You could hear cheering going on in the Driver Lounge, so we ducked in to see 20 drivers watching the 49ers-Panthers game. It was a stark reminder of how many drivers are out on the road on the weekend and use the truckstops as a safe haven.
