Truck 325802 - From Dream To Reality

We promised to keep you updated on our pilot truck inspection in Saltillo, Mexico.  Here is our first glimpse of our new Freightliner Cascadia 72" Tractor with the 15L Detroit Diesel engine.

We have ordered the black mirrors to prevent the bug issue we saw with our chrome ones on the Navistar.
This truck will present a much better option for our Eastern Network drivers.  This includes our Eastern Network Will Run drivers as well.

This truck will be in Lowell, Arkansas in less than two weeks.  We will inspect it along with the help of our professional drivers to make sure every detail is considered.  Our order of 632 Freightliners will start delivering in October 2014.

Driver Feedback-Big Truck Talk

We received this note from one of our drivers this week.  She is an Eastern Network Will Run driver.  She gave us honest feedback concerning her current 56" International ProStar :

I'm a driver for J.B. Hunt and I am out 3 months at a time. Are drivers like me that are on the Will Run account included in getting bigger trucks also or just the east coast drivers that are home every 1-2 weeks.

I hate my truck.  It is so small you can't even change your mind in it.  I have no room for clothes, food, or even a cooler.  It costs me a fortune eating out every day, and that's only 1 meal a day I eat.

I think the drivers out this long deserve a bigger truck also. Think about it.  I'm only home 4 times a year.  I need extra food, clothes, drinks, and personal items

We received a great note from one of our Truckload clients regarding the performance of Alex Feaster:

Katie,
I had a driver P/U at my facility and I would like to compliment this driver.
He was very polite, dressed in uniform and I was very impressed with his positive attitude.
We have worked together for many years and I have never seen a driver in uniform.
In my opinion it spoke volumes about JB Hunt.
Please pass this mail up the chain of command.
