Do You Agree?



When it comes to recruiting today's driver, many trucking companies are stuck using old advertising and recruiting methods that are quickly losing their effectiveness. Some companies specialize in marketing specifically to the transportation industry. Social media and online marketing is the number one advertising method to gain drivers and owner operators to apply with your company.

  1. I agree that today's driver is far more technically savvy, better informed and tend to do more research into the opinions of others. While radio advertising seems to be one of the most effective recruiting tools out there to capture experienced drivers, social media will overshadow it soon. The important thing for us to remember is to keep our reputation sparkling clean by treating the drivers the way they should be treated. They do talk to each other and with the advent of social media that talk will only increase.
