Our drivers know this scene all too well. When J.B. Hunt Undercover arrived to get unloaded they soon found out they were #9 out of 10 trucks waiting to get unloaded.
With the new HOS in place the starting of a driver's clock is a key component of successful utilization and our employees/contractors making a living wage. Getting to the receiver early did not help in this situation. Our drivers are telling us more and more how important it is to know parking limitations at shippers and receivers. The strategy around parking can be the difference between starting their clock or not each morning.
