The Truckload Career Enrichment Lab needed help. Our windows weree bare, and, frankly, we do care. Window signs might be in the works, but we need something now. So, we decided to make it a contest. We encouraged 4 lucky Truckload employees to be creative. Look what they developed:

The Sign Bandit Strikes!
We spent time at two facilities (Forest Park & Louisville) over the past week. We are looking critically at our signage and the care and upkeep of our United States flags. The signage shown here are the replacements for our Louisville facility. We moved our Thank You Drivers sign to the exit and our Independent Contractor Lease Purchase content on the inbound lane. Looks much better!
The Driver Experience Continues....Facility #5 Start Date Announced!
Renovation will start on March 8 at the Louisville, Kentucky Service Center on the Professional Driver’s side of the building. The showers, restrooms, break room and vending machines will be unavailable during this time. There will be rest rooms available at the shop and the Safety Department will be open and available. We expect this to take six to eight weeks to complete, weather permitting. This is a continuation of our $2.1m facility investment.
Take a look at the current facility areas that our Professional Drivers use on a daily basis:
This kitchen area is in the Driver Lounge.
Our coffee pot on an old file cabinet screams remodel.
The hallway areas of the terminal are clean, but give a clinical feel to the facility.
The facility has numerous nooks and crannies for old school phone operations. These areas will soon house our vending machines and interactive training stations. Welcome to the 21st century!

The Petty Experience - Bonding With Our People
Jim Sebourn, BDE for DCS Sales, was present at the racetrack escorting clients through the Pit Pass area before the official race. Jim has been a catalyst of our growth with Southern States.
Jeff Bateman, a 1 year Truckload Professional Driver loved every minute of the race. Jeff was hired on October 12, 2015. He is a NASCAR aficionado. We all learned a lot about racing from him during the Sunday race.
Jesse and Chuck enjoyed the two evenings we had together. Jesse is a 3 month employee at J.B. Hunt and formerly drove for SWIFT. Chuck is a 17 year veteran of our company.
Kevin Husser and Dan Byers get prepared for a day in the sun on turn #2. Kevin has been with the company for 26 years and Dan is a 16 year employee.
Johnny White, a 27 year employee, and Gary Carthon, a 28 year veteran, were all smiles as we enjoyed breakfast and two autograph sessions.
A group of Intermodal Professional Drivers check out the pit areas.
This is the work space of our #43 team.
The Scott family basks in the honor of the T-Bone Scott decal on the side of #43.
